		<description>Steve,

I&#039;m thrilled that you and your wife were able to apply the concepts with such great success and so quickly. That&#039;s always my goal. It&#039;s nice to know that I hit the target occasionally.

Thanks for sharing your story with our readers.

Best wishes,

<description>I find this article to be extremely insightful! I relate very well to your disappointment with a book that reveals its climax and resolution 50 pages before the end. That image draws emotion!

Even more powerful, though, was the way you helped me apply this image to my everyday experience!

That very morning, I applied these tips outlined on a few sales interactions –

· Allow the thrill of discovery
· Lead in alternate directions – before getting to the point
· Use language that triggers an emotional reaction
· Leave them wanting more

I was so pleased with the results that I shared the information to our family over morning devotional. Twice, since then, my wife has mentioned to me how powerful she has found these simple tips to be.

Thanks, Dale, for the counter-intuitive thinking!
