		<description>Linda,

I'm glad it was helpful. Each of us experiences what you've described. I do at times and I am well aware of and regularly practice the steps outlined above. The key is to acknowledge what you're feeling and remind yourself that it's natural - just part of our human nature. Then remind yourself of all the times that things you feared worked to our advantage. With each memory you'll feel yourself becoming more calm, continue with the memories until that calm allows you to feel confident enough to take action. Action quickly overcomes fear and restores confidence.

Best wishes,

<description>This column was very meaningful and timely for me. I struggle with this concept a lot. Even though I can go back and see where my needs are always met just in the nick of time, I endure a lot of stress being in situations where I have no idea how or when they are going to resolve. I'm going to have to work on turning past experience into future trust!</description>

<description>Thank you, Andy. One of the best sources I've found for spirituality is the Upanishads. The word upanishad means teaching session. These teaching sessions pre-date Hinduism and, as you said, appear in different forms in most of religions around the world.

		<description>Dale:

An excellent column that I believe could be written about even more. You have revealed a highly valuable approach to life that also matches with many different religious and spiritual beliefs.
